Something happened today that I want to talk about before we dive into anything crypto related, because I genuinely believe that timing matters. Not just in investing, not just in business, but in life. In the decisions we make, the doors we walk through, and the ones we have been standing in front of for a little too long without moving.
Today is the New Moon in Taurus. And if you have any connection to astrology at all, even a casual one, even the kind where you check your horoscope on a Sunday morning with your coffee and take it with a grain of salt, you will know that a New Moon is one of the most powerful moments in the lunar cycle for setting intentions and beginning something new.
Taurus energy in particular is grounded, practical, patient and deeply connected to our relationship with money, resources and long term security. It is the energy of the woman who moves slowly and deliberately. Who does not rush. Who builds things that last. Sound familiar? It should. Because that is exactly the kind of woman this community is for.
So if you have been sitting on the fence about educating yourself about crypto, if you have been telling yourself you will look into it when things calm down, when the kids are older, when you have more time, when you feel more ready, I want you to hear this today of all days. The New Moon is not asking you to invest. It is not asking you to do anything dramatic or scary or financially risky. It is simply asking you to begin. To set an intention. Why Timing Actually Matters in Crypto
Now I am going to bridge from the spiritual to the practical for a moment, because this is what we do here. We honour both.
The crypto market moves in cycles. This is one of the most important things to understand before you ever put a single euro or dollar into anything. There are periods of enormous growth, periods of significant decline, and long quiet stretches in between where nothing much seems to happen but where the most important education actually takes place.
Right now we are in a moment that many analysts consider a significant accumulation phase. That is a fancy way of saying that the people who really understand this market are quietly learning, watching and positioning themselves, not panicking and not rushing. They are doing exactly what Taurus energy asks of us. Building slowly. Thinking long term. Not reacting to every headline.
I am not telling you this to push you into any decision. I never will. What I am telling you is that the women who will feel most confident in this space two or three years from now are the ones who started educating themselves today. Not because they timed the market perfectly. But because they gave themselves enough time to actually understand what they were looking at before they acted.
Knowledge is the only investment that cannot lose its value.
The Fear Is Normal. Do It Anyway.
I want to address something that comes up every single time I talk to women about crypto. The fear. And I do not mean a vague uncomfortable feeling. I mean a very specific, very real fear that has several layers to it.
There is the fear of not understanding. Of feeling stupid in a space that seems designed for people who already know everything. There is the fear of losing money, which is completely rational and one I take very seriously. There is the fear of being scammed, which again, completely valid and something I have personal experience with. And underneath all of it there is often a deeper fear that this world was simply not built for us and that walking into it uninvited is somehow a mistake.
I want to gently challenge every single one of those fears today.
You will not understand everything immediately. Nobody does. I did not. The people who act like they did are either lying or they forgot what it felt like to be a beginner. Understanding comes with time and with asking questions without shame, which is exactly what you are invited to do here.
You do not have to risk any money to begin educating yourself. Learning is free. Reading is free. Asking questions is free. You can spend months understanding this space before you ever make a single financial decision and I would actually encourage you to do exactly that.
The scam risk is real and it is something we are going to cover in depth in an upcoming post, including my own story of getting burned early on. But awareness is the best protection and by the time we are done you will be able to spot the red flags from a mile away.
And as for this world not being built for us? You are absolutely right. It was not. So we are building our own corner of it. Right here. Together.
What Starting Actually Looks Like
I think one of the reasons women put off beginning is that they imagine the starting point is somewhere far ahead of where they actually are. That before they can call themselves someone who understands crypto they need to have read twelve books and watched hundreds of hours of content and memorised the entire history of blockchain technology.
That is not starting. That is procrastinating dressed up as preparation.
Starting looks like this. You read one article this week. Maybe this one. You come back and read another one next week. You begin to recognise words you did not recognise before. You start to feel less like a stranger in the room and more like someone who belongs there, because you do belong there, you have always belonged there, you just needed someone to say it out loud.
The New Moon in Taurus today is that someone. It is the universe doing what it does best, creating a moment that feels like a gentle hand at your back. Not pushing. Just present. Just saying, this is a good time. You are ready. Go.
